Meet Marlin — One of Our Most Special Sanctuary Residents

Marlin has been part of Rabbit Angels since the very beginning of his life—he was born in our care, alongside his twin brother, Bailey. Bailey has since passed, making Marlin’s presence with us even more precious. He carries his brother’s memory with him, and we carry both of them in our hearts.

Marlin was born with several chronic medical challenges, including being EC+ with neurological symptoms and Megacolon. Because of this, he requires a strict, carefully controlled diet and daily medications to keep him comfortable and stable.

Even with these obstacles, Marlin is the gentlest spirit you’ll ever meet. He’s quiet, simple in his needs, and endlessly sweet. He gives kisses freely, leans into affection, and brings a calming energy to everyone around him. Marlin sometimes needs a little extra help with grooming, which he accepts with the soft gratitude that defines his personality.

He lives as a cherished Forever Sanctuary Bun with Director Heather, who makes sure he receives the medical care, comfort, and unconditional love he deserves.

Marlin may be delicate in body, but he is strong in heart—and he reminds us every day why every life is worth protecting, honoring, and loving.
